Stuart Rapley

is interested in the intervention between autistic cognition and faith. He carried out some qualitative research on this for his MA Dissertation in 2019 and has recently published a book (Autistic Thinking in the Life of the Church) on the topic. He currently engages in an exercise to implement the recommendations from my book: 1) development of a support network of autistic Christians aiming to enhance their capacity for engagement with their churches; 2) development of materials to support churches wanting to learn how to support autistic Christians and; 3) a website-based resource hub.  He serves as a Trustee of the UK National Autistic Society and as a member of Aberdeen University’s CAT Advisory Panel.
